CV flooring and DESIGN prides itself in not being your typical over-sized, over-stocked flooring and carpet retailer. The first thing you notice when walking into our design center is the selections are broad and product scope interesting, unique and often global…but scaled down to not overwhelm your shopping experience.  We carry beautiful tile, porcelains, slab products, granite, marble, natural stone, cork, wood, bamboo, engineered wood, rubber, turf, laminate and everything in-between. Our carpet selections include both residential and commercial products in a wide assortment of colors, textures, patterns and style. We have both wool and synthetic broadloom as well as wool area carpets. Our staff can expertly assist you in selecting and mixing/blending materials to fit your every purpose, style, and budget. Our in-house designer will be pleased to meet with you at your residence, job site, or business for an initial complimentary consultation.

CV flooring and DESIGN was opened in 2001 by Mike Yakovich as a design center for his general contracting company. Mike was finding his customer base wanted more variety and a better quality, of surface and flooring options then was available in the Coachella Valley. Mike and his expert staff continue to make it their mission to find and display unique and well made “surface” products from around the globe, visiting many national surface and flooring venues each year. We are truly committed to the consumer that wants “fabulous” in their home.

Having a licensed and bonded contractor as our parent company, allows us to oversee and manage basic or complete re-models of your property. Alice and Mark both have many years of combined experience in flooring, surface, and interior design. They will be pleased to meet with you and work out a complete and comprehensive project plan from large to small. We have exceptional installers, who provide quality, on-time service…with a smile.
